Snow day!
Well we got about a foot of Snow here today and the kids are off from school.
What to do with the little darlings on such a day?
How about a game of "Snow" puff football!
A variation on the old Powder puff game you knew in High School
Separate the kids into two even teams, than tamp down the snow to create a gaol line at either end of a set of boundaries. Make a LARGE snowball (make sure you tamp it down so it is well packed)
The rules are simple
1) No tackling this is two hand touch or you can make flags out of some old rags and stick them in the back of your pants, if it is pulled out you are down.
2) each team gets 4 chances to score. No first downs just 4 plays and switch.
3) each td is worth 1 point
4) each team gets 10 chances with the "Ball" than the game is over, the team with the highest point total wins.
5) each team gets a mug of hot cocao when the game is over!
